What WestView Capital Partners buys
WestView Capital Partners is a Boston growth equity firm founded in 2004. It manages about $2.7 billion across five funds, the latest a $1.0 billion fund closed in January 2023. It invests $20 million to $100 million of equity in companies with at least $10 million of revenue and $3 million to $25 million of EBITDA. Its focus areas are business services, IT services, software, healthcare IT and outsourcing, growth industrial and consumer, and most recent deals are founder-owned service and technology companies.
WestView says it is control agnostic. It takes minority or majority stakes through recapitalizations, growth financings and buyouts, without depending on heavy debt. It likes to lead the deal and wants managers to stay meaningful owners. Many recent investments were minority stakes, such as Benefits All In in February 2026 and Helio Health Group in June 2026, which lets a founder take money off the table while keeping a large share. Fund V targets companies that are usually founder-owned and have not raised institutional capital before.

Greymont’s take
How WestView Capital Partners fits a seller
WestView fits a founder with a growing company who wants capital and an experienced partner but is not ready to give up control. Its minority record is real: CardFlight, Benefits All In and Helio Health Group all took minority investments, and in the Helio deal the existing leaders kept a significant stake and kept running the business. Owners of managed IT, IT consulting and cybersecurity firms are squarely in its lane, as are tech-enabled service providers to hospitals, payers and life sciences companies.
The size bar matters. With at least $3 million of EBITDA and $10 million of revenue required, very small firms will not qualify. An owner should ask how WestView plans its exit, since several recent sales were partial, with WestView keeping a stake next to a new buyer, as with Prime Electric and The Phia Group.
Questions owners ask
Will WestView take a minority stake?
Yes. It says it is equally comfortable as a minority or majority owner. In 2026 it made minority investments in Benefits All In in February and Helio Health Group in June.
What size company does WestView look for?
Revenue of at least $10 million and EBITDA between $3 million and $25 million, with an equity investment of $20 million to $100 million and a record of consistent growth.
Does WestView invest in IT services and managed service providers?
Yes. IT services is one of its named sectors. Current holdings include AccountabilIT, which merged with Corsica Technologies in November 2025, plus Summit 7, HOIST, Invisors and Roko Labs.
How much capital does WestView manage?
About $2.7 billion raised across five funds since 2004. Its newest fund, WestView Capital Partners V, closed at its $1.0 billion hard cap in January 2023.
