What Rallyday Partners buys

Rallyday Partners is a Denver private equity firm started by former founders and CEOs, who say they set out in 2018 to build a firm around what entrepreneurs need. It looks for North American companies with at least $10 million of revenue, a plan to grow and something that sets them apart, and it pitches itself as a longer-term partner. The portfolio leans toward professional and tech-enabled services: Salesforce, data and digital product consultancies (Kicksaw, Nimble Gravity, Livefront), the Rochester accounting firm Insero, and healthcare businesses in home care, physical therapy and dental.

Rallyday closed a $150 million first fund in 2020 and a $205 million second fund in 2022. In May 2026 Simplistic became the first platform in its third fund, whose size has not been announced. Every new company goes through a six-month leadership and strategy program after the deal. Most of its recent activity is add-ons, so a smaller consulting, accounting or IT services firm can meet Rallyday by selling to one of its platforms, several of which say they are seeking acquisitions.

Greymont’s take

How Rallyday Partners fits a seller

Rallyday fits founders who want to stay involved after a sale and who value coaching as much as capital. Its partners have built and sold their own companies, and most of its current platforms are still led by a founder, including Insero, Kicksaw, Nimble Gravity, Elder Care and Highbar. That is not guaranteed: at Simplistic the co-founder became an adviser and board member while a new CEO took over. Expect the six-month accelerator program and a steady run of add-ons, since Insero and Kicksaw have each bought three firms since early 2025.

Rallyday does not publish an EBITDA range or say whether it takes majority control. Owners should ask how much of the company it would own, how much equity they would roll, and how long it plans to hold before the next sale.

Questions owners ask

What size company does Rallyday Partners invest in?

Its site asks for North American companies with at least $10 million of revenue. It does not publish an EBITDA range or a maximum size, though its first two funds were $150 million and $205 million.

Does Rallyday buy IT services and consulting firms?

Yes. Kicksaw (Salesforce consulting), Nimble Gravity (data and AI consulting) and Livefront (digital product consulting) are current platforms, and each has made add-ons since 2025, including Compass, Fog Solutions and Zeal IT Consultants.

Does Rallyday invest in accounting firms?

Yes. It made a strategic investment in Insero Advisors, a Rochester, New York accounting, tax and advisory firm, in January 2025. Insero has since acquired DeMott & Smith CPAs, Actel Advisory Group and Cause + Effect Strategy.

What happens after Rallyday invests?

Each portfolio company goes through the Rallyday Accelerator Program, a six-month program run with the leadership team that sets out the company's purpose, strategy, culture and leadership development plans.
