What Dynamic Core Capital Partners buys

Dynamic Core Capital Partners is the name Dubin Clark took in January 2026. Now based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, the firm traces its history back more than 40 years and is still run by the same three managing partners. It buys control of founder-owned and family-run US companies in specialty services and niche branded manufacturing: home and commercial services such as HVAC, plumbing, pest control, irrigation and lawn care; event rentals and production; water, wastewater and other infrastructure services; managed IT and digital marketing; and branded products such as aftermarket auto parts. It reports more than $400 million of assets and closed its first SBIC fund at $240 million in February 2026.

Its page for owners asks for $5 million to $100 million or more of revenue, $1 million to $15 million or more of EBITDA, and margins above 10%. A typical deal pairs the firm's money with a seasoned executive who takes a real equity stake, then adds one to three acquisitions per platform. It wants add-ons of any size, so a small company can join a current platform.

Greymont’s take

How Dynamic Core Capital Partners fits a seller

Dynamic Core fits a founder who wants to sell control but cares about keeping the team and culture intact, and who is comfortable with the firm placing an experienced executive, often from the same industry, at the head of the company. Founders can stay on as advisors, board members or part-time staff, or leave cleanly. The firm says it usually holds a company for four to seven years.

It has been busy in home services, adding Rumble Pest Solutions in 2025 and Kearney HVAC in 2026 next to CastleWorks, EcoSystems and Super Home Services, and it owns Atomic Data in managed IT. Owners in those fields may fit as a new platform or an add-on. Because its new fund runs under the SBA's small business investment company program, owners should ask how much debt the company would carry, and who the incoming executive would be and when they would start.

Questions owners ask

Is Dynamic Core Capital the same firm as Dubin Clark?

Yes. Dubin Clark rebranded as Dynamic Core Capital Partners in January 2026. The announcement said ownership, leadership and investment approach stay the same under managing partners Brent Paris, Michael Hompesch and Thomas Caracciolo.

Does Dynamic Core buy pest control and HVAC companies?

Yes. It recapitalized Rumble Pest Solutions of Springdale, Arkansas, in August 2025 and added Kearney HVAC of Salisbury, Massachusetts, in July 2026. It also owns CastleWorks, a water heater, plumbing and HVAC service company, and Super Home Services, which has bought several pest and lawn businesses.

Does Dynamic Core invest in managed IT service providers?

Yes. Atomic Data, a Minneapolis managed IT services provider it backed in 2024, is a current holding, and its September 2026 fact sheet lists managed IT services among the segments it is actively looking at.

Can I stay involved after selling to Dynamic Core?

Yes. The firm says many founders stay on as advisors, board members or in part-time roles, while others prefer a clean break, and it will set up either arrangement.
