What Corridor Capital buys

Corridor Capital is a Los Angeles private equity firm that Craig Enenstein founded in 2005. It buys business services and value-added distribution companies with $2 million to $8 million of EBITDA that are based in the US or Canada, and it prefers entrepreneur and family-owned companies that have never had an institutional owner. Its target niches are business process outsourcing, marketing services, and specialty training and education. Current holdings include appraisal management (Dart Appraisal), association management (Association Headquarters), title and settlement services, sales and contractor training, and investment conferences (Titan Investors, added in August 2026).

In its main strategy Corridor takes control, and sellers often roll part of their equity into the new company. It also offers non-control structured equity for owners who want partial liquidity, and it backs independent sponsors with debt and equity. An in-house operations team works on finance, systems, hiring and add-on deals after closing. Corridor is investing its fourth fund and its platforms buy smaller firms often, so a small company may fit as an add-on.

Greymont’s take

How Corridor Capital fits a seller

Corridor suits owners of outsourced service businesses, such as appraisal management, association management, title services or training firms, who want a hands-on partner and are willing to keep a stake for a second payday. Its releases show founders and CEOs often stay on as material owners, as at Dart Appraisal and Titan Investors, and add-on sellers such as the president of Managing Matters kept equity in the combined company. Expect Corridor's operations team to get involved in finance, reporting and systems soon after closing. Owners should ask how much equity they would be expected to roll, how the structured equity option compares with a full sale, and when Corridor expects to sell, since it invests from funds and its realized companies were all sold on to other buyers.

Questions owners ask

What size companies does Corridor Capital buy?

Its criteria call for $2 million to $8 million of EBITDA, a diverse and stable customer base, and an entrepreneur or family owner who wants an active partner. Companies should be based in the US or Canada.

Does Corridor only do control deals?

No. Its private equity strategy buys a controlling stake, but it also offers non-control structured equity, such as preferred capital that can fund a payout to owners, and it backs independent sponsors with debt and equity.

Has Corridor bought anything recently?

Yes. It invested in Titan Investors in August 2026, and its portfolio companies added ACT Appraisal in October 2026, Potomac Management Resources in July 2026 and Horsesmouth in April 2026.

Does the owner keep a stake after selling to Corridor?

Often. Corridor says sellers commonly roll over a meaningful share of their equity, and its Dart Appraisal and Titan Investors releases say the CEO or co-founders remain material owners of the business.
