What Victor Capital Partners buys

Victor Capital Partners is a New York private equity firm founded in 2016, with offices in New York, Boca Raton and Baltimore. It invests in branded companies in three areas: industrial manufacturing and technology, business services, and specialty consumer products. Its current holdings include makers of safety flooring, high-security windows, retail shelving, automotive service equipment and van accessories, plus a new security guarding and monitoring platform. It looks for strong brands, resilient markets and room to grow, and has bought from founders, families, other private equity firms and corporations.

Victor invests from Fund II, which closed at $310 million in October 2024. Its website asks for at least $20 million of revenue, its September 2026 fact sheet says new platforms should earn roughly $5 million of EBITDA or more, and the Fund II announcement put equity per deal at about $25 million to $100 million. A smaller company is most likely to meet Victor as an add-on, since the firm says it is actively looking for add-ons across its portfolio, including more security companies for its new platform.

Greymont’s take

How Victor Capital Partners fits a seller

Victor suits owners of branded manufacturing, business services or specialty consumer companies with at least $20 million of revenue who want a growth partner with a long-term view. It often keeps the existing leaders in place: at Owl Outdoor the founder stayed on as CEO and board member, and the B-O-F deal was done alongside senior management. Owners of guarding, patrol or alarm monitoring businesses should know that Victor is building a national security platform and has said it wants to buy more companies in that field.

Owners below Victor's size floor are more likely to meet it as an add-on, the way Nystrom's stair nosing product line joined SLIPNOT in 2026. Before signing, an owner should ask whether the deal would be a new platform or an add-on, and how much equity they would be expected to keep in the business.

Questions owners ask

What size companies does Victor Capital Partners look for?

Its website asks for at least $20 million of revenue, and its September 2026 fact sheet says new platforms should earn about $5 million of EBITDA or more. When it closed Fund II in October 2024, it said it planned to invest roughly $25 million to $100 million of equity per deal.

Does Victor Capital buy security services companies?

Yes. In November 2025 it bought four regional security firms that provide guarding, patrol, alarm and video monitoring and investigations, and combined them into a new national platform. It said at the time that it was looking for more security businesses to add.

Does Victor make add-on acquisitions?

Yes. Its fact sheet says it is actively pursuing add-ons across its portfolio. In August 2026, SLIPNOT's Amstep business bought the metal stair tread nosing line of Nystrom, a Minnesota building products maker.

Does management stay on after Victor invests?

Often. When Victor backed Owl Outdoor in January 2025, its founder and CEO and its COO kept running the company and stayed on the board, and the B-O-F investment a month later was made in partnership with senior management.
