What Roebling Capital Partners buys
Roebling Capital Partners is a Cincinnati private equity firm started in 2020 by a group of local business owners and dealmakers, investing from a fund raised mostly from regional investors. It makes controlling investments in lower middle market companies and often invests alongside founders who keep a meaningful stake. Its target areas are business services (outsourced, facility and industrial services, asset-light logistics, value-added distribution, education and training), niche manufacturing, consumer products and healthcare services.
For a new platform it wants at least $3 million of trailing EBITDA, $5 million or more of revenue and EBITDA margins of 10 percent or better, plus steady free cash flow and managers who plan to stay after closing. It sets no minimums for add-ons, so a smaller company can join one of its current holdings, such as All Claims Repairs in property restoration or Longstreth in field hockey equipment. When it launched, the firm said it would put $1 million to $4 million into each deal and bring in co-investors when more equity is needed.

Greymont’s take
How Roebling Capital Partners fits a seller
Roebling suits owners who want to keep a real stake and a role after they sell. In its deals the founders or managers often reinvest: SprayEZ's founder stayed a key owner, the Porch Swing founder and the All Claims owners put money back into their companies, and White Stone's CEO and managers stayed in place while Roebling took a board seat. Its add-on deals, such as Clarke Contractors, have also kept local leaders in charge.
Because Roebling's equity comes from a fund of mostly local investors, and it brings in partners when a deal needs more equity, an owner should ask how much of the price is cash at closing, who the co-investors are, and whether there is capital set aside for follow-on acquisitions. It is also fair to ask about the firm's pace, since its most recent announced deal was in June 2025.
Questions owners ask
What size company does Roebling Capital Partners look for?
For a new platform it wants at least $3 million of trailing 12-month EBITDA, at least $5 million of revenue and EBITDA margins of 10 percent or more. It sets no minimums for add-on acquisitions to its existing companies.
Does Roebling invest in fleet or vehicle repair businesses?
Yes. In June 2025 it led a growth investment in White Stone Fleet Service, a Hamilton, Ohio company that provides on-site repair, diagnostics and DOT compliance work for commercial fleets, and said it would help with future acquisitions.
Can the owner keep a stake after selling to Roebling?
Often, yes. SprayEZ's founder remained a key owner after the January 2025 deal, and in the All Claims Repairs and Porch Swing deals the owners made significant investments in the recapitalized companies.
