What Red Arts Capital buys
Red Arts Capital is a Chicago private equity firm, founded in 2015, that invests in North American supply chain businesses. Its target areas are logistics (warehousing, contract and third-party logistics, distribution and specialty transportation), value-added manufacturing, paper, plastics and packaging, aerospace and defense, and business services such as facilities, industrial and professional services. It prefers family-owned, often multi-generational companies with proven managers, steady profits and a lasting edge over competitors. Its news page reports that it closed its debut fund at $270 million in 2023.
For a new platform, Red Arts looks for at least $5 million of EBITDA. Add-ons can be any size, so a smaller company is most likely to join one of its existing groups, such as the Partners Warehouse and FLEX Logistics network, KKSP Precision Machining, BelPak in packaging, or Freshway Foods in fresh produce. Recent deals follow that pattern: KKSP arrived with an add-on already done, PSS Distribution Services joined Partners Warehouse, and three packaging companies were merged into BelPak in 2025.

Greymont’s take
How Red Arts Capital fits a seller
Red Arts is a natural fit for owners of warehousing, third-party logistics, freight, packaging, food processing or precision machining businesses, particularly family-owned companies passing between generations. Owners with less than $5 million of EBITDA are most likely to sell as an add-on to an existing Red Arts group. That usually means joining a larger combined company, and sometimes taking on a new brand, as happened when three packaging companies became BelPak in 2025.
An owner should ask whether the business would stand on its own or be merged into an existing platform, and what roles the family and managers would keep afterward. Because the firm's first institutional fund closed in 2023, it is also fair to ask how long Red Arts expects to hold the company and what kind of buyer it would sell to next.
