What Osceola Capital Management buys

Osceola Capital Management, a Tampa firm founded in 2014, buys lower middle market services companies and builds them up through add-on acquisitions. Its current platform themes are residential services, facility services, professional services and outsourced healthcare services. Recent platforms include Valor Exterior Partners (residential roofing), Trauma Services (biohazard cleanup) and Fortify Restoration (structural repair of Florida high-rise condominiums). It favors fragmented, recession-resistant industries with recurring revenue, margins of 10% or more and no heavy reliance on a few customers or suppliers.

For a new platform it wants $2 million to $10 million of EBITDA and $5 million to $75 million of revenue. It takes a majority stake and invests up to $25 million of equity, with more from its limited partners. Its most recent fund on record is Osceola Fund II, a $200 million fund. The firm counts 13 platforms and more than 110 add-ons, so a smaller company will most likely meet Osceola as an add-on, though the firm will also build a platform around a company other buyers would treat as a bolt-on.

Greymont’s take

How Osceola Capital Management fits a seller

Osceola fits owners of services businesses who want a buyer that will keep growing the company through acquisitions, and who may want to stay involved. Its principals have run and sold companies of their own, and its releases show founders often stay on: Trauma Services' founder remained CEO after the 2024 deal, and the president of Bakers' Signs kept leading that business after it joined Texas Republic Signs. Expect a majority sale with part of the proceeds rolled into the new company, since Osceola looks for meaningful management rollover.

Owners of roofing, structural restoration or biohazard cleanup firms are the likeliest add-ons today, through Valor, Fortify or Trauma. The firm says intermediaries are central to how it finds deals, so it is used to working with advisers. Ask how much equity you would roll and when Osceola expects to sell the platform, since some of its current companies have been held since 2017.

Questions owners ask

What size company does Osceola Capital look for?

For a new platform it targets $2 million to $10 million of EBITDA and $5 million to $75 million of revenue, with equity checks of up to $25 million and more available from its limited partners. Smaller companies also join as add-ons: the firm reports more than 110 add-on acquisitions across 13 platforms.

Does Osceola Capital buy roofing companies?

Yes. It launched Valor Exterior Partners in September 2024, and in August 2026 Valor announced its tenth acquisition, Dick's Roof Repair in Wisconsin. Valor serves homeowners from New England to the Great Lakes and prefers roofers whose work is not mainly storm or insurance driven.

Does Osceola buy biohazard cleanup or remediation companies?

Yes. It recapitalized Trauma Services, a Boston-area biohazard cleanup company, in April 2024. Trauma added Georgia Clean, Fagala Biohazard Specialists and BioClean Team during 2025, opened six new offices, and Osceola says it wants to keep adding companies nationwide.

Can the owner stay involved after selling to Osceola?

Yes. The firm says it will shape a deal around an owner who wants to stay for the long term or retire soon. Trauma Services' founder stayed on as CEO after its 2024 recapitalization, and Osceola looks for management teams that roll over a meaningful stake.
