What Main Post Partners buys
Main Post Partners is a San Francisco growth equity firm, with a second office in Charlotte, that invests only in consumer businesses. It says it managed about $3.5 billion at the end of 2025, counted as regulatory AUM. Its six focus areas are personal care and beauty, digitally led brands, multi-unit and consumer services (including franchisors and large franchisees), enthusiast and lifestyle brands, food, beverage and wellness, and companies that supply consumer brands, such as packaging makers.
The firm looks for profitable companies growing at double-digit rates with roughly $5 million to $50 million or more of EBITDA and $50 million to $500 million or more of revenue. It invests about $50 million to $250 million or more per deal, takes minority or majority positions, and says it keeps leverage conservative. Recent deals include minority stakes in Smoothie King, Rebel Athletic and Stellar Snacks and a buyout of HomeWell Care Services. A smaller operator may meet Main Post as an add-on to a franchisee platform, as when Highland Arms Enterprises bought Camprendy in 2025.

Greymont’s take
How Main Post Partners fits a seller
Main Post fits founders of fast-growing consumer brands and multi-unit operators who want capital and help but are not ready to give up control. Most of its recent deals were minority stakes: Smoothie King's CEO remains its majority shareholder, and the co-founders of Stellar Snacks still run the company. It also backs franchisors and large franchisees, including HomeWell, Flynn Group, Chuze Fitness and Highland Arms Enterprises, a Precision Garage Door franchisee that has made four acquisitions since Main Post invested in 2023.
A company needs real scale to be a direct investment, since the firm looks for about $5 million or more of EBITDA. Its recent exits went to a large strategic buyer (Not Your Mother's to Henkel) and to a long-term family group (KUIU). An owner should ask whether Main Post would take a minority stake in their case, and how and when it expects to exit.
Questions owners ask

Yes. Multi-unit and consumer services is one of its six focus areas. It backs franchisors such as Smoothie King and HomeWell Care Services, and large franchisees such as Flynn Group, Artemis Wax and Highland Arms Enterprises.
