What Enhanced Healthcare Partners buys
Enhanced Healthcare Partners is a Santa Monica private equity firm that invests only in healthcare. It looks for founder-led and family-run companies in the lower middle market and plans to put $25 million to $75 million or more into each one over the life of the investment. Its current companies run urgent care clinics, psychiatric hospitals, autism therapy, emergency physician services and plastic surgery practices, plus software for referrals, revenue cycle work and physician pay.
EHP says it can be the control owner or a minority partner. Its menu includes recapitalizations where key managers keep a real stake, growth capital for a new site, product or acquisition, and buyouts of divisions from larger companies. It closed its second fund at $521 million in May 2025 and said control deals remain the focus. It does not publish a revenue or EBITDA floor. A smaller practice may meet EHP as an add-on: Vy Aesthetic Partners says it wants to buy or partner with plastic surgery and aesthetics practices in the Midwest and central US.

Greymont’s take
How Enhanced Healthcare Partners fits a seller
EHP fits owners of healthcare service businesses or healthcare software companies who want a buyer that knows the sector and can pay for growth through acquisitions, new locations or new technology. The firm lays out a three-stage plan: build the team and systems, push for a step change in size, then speed up growth. It says it expects to hold a company for about five years on average, so an owner who keeps equity should plan on a second sale in roughly that window.
Because EHP does both control and minority deals, an owner should ask which structure it would propose and how much management would keep after a recapitalization. Owners of aesthetics or plastic surgery practices should ask whether Vy Aesthetic Partners would be the home, and how much local control that platform leaves, since its July 2026 rebrand kept each practice under its own local name.
Questions owners ask
Does Enhanced Healthcare Partners invest outside healthcare?
No. The firm says it invests only in healthcare. Its current companies include urgent care, inpatient psychiatric care, autism therapy, emergency physician services, aesthetics practices and healthcare software businesses.
How much does EHP invest in a company?
Its About page says it aims to invest $25 million to $75 million or more over the life of each portfolio company, using structures that range from growth equity to recapitalizations and management buyouts.
Will EHP take a minority stake?
Yes. EHP says it has acted as lead investor, co-investor, control investor and minority partner. When it closed Fund II in May 2025, it said control investments in the lower middle market remain its main focus.
How long does EHP usually hold a company?
The firm says it generally expects an average holding period of about five years and uses debt conservatively when it sets up the capital structure of a new company.
