What Susquehanna Growth Equity buys
Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), founded in 2006, invests money from Susquehanna International Group, the privately held trading and financial firm, instead of raising outside funds. Because there is no fund clock, it says it has no fixed holding period and can be flexible on structure: money for growth, for acquisitions or to buy out existing shareholders, sometimes in several rounds. Most of its 60-plus current companies are software and information businesses in the US, Europe and Israel. It also owns founder-led services companies, including Quality Collision Group, LUV Car Wash, Tint World and the franchisor Main Line Brands.
SGE says it has invested more than $5 billion in over 110 companies over 20 years. It does not publish revenue, EBITDA or check-size limits. Announced rounds in the last two years ran from $14 million (Package.ai) to an $80 million round it led for SchooLinks. A smaller collision shop or car wash is most likely to meet SGE through Quality Collision Group or LUV Car Wash, which have grown by bringing in individual locations.

Greymont’s take
How Susquehanna Growth Equity fits a seller
SGE fits a founder who wants growth money or a partial cash-out without signing up for a fixed exit date. Its capital comes from Susquehanna's own balance sheet, so it can hold for a long time and invest again later, as it did with the 2026 follow-on in ApartmentIQ, a company it first backed in 2021. Most of its deals are growth rounds in software companies, but it also owns services businesses in collision repair, car washes and franchising.
Owners of collision shops or car washes can treat Quality Collision Group and LUV Car Wash, both current SGE holdings, as possible buyers. Before agreeing terms, an owner should ask whether SGE is taking a minority or majority stake, how much of the money goes to the company rather than to the owners, and who decides when the business is eventually sold.
Questions owners ask
Where does Susquehanna Growth Equity's money come from?
All of it comes from Susquehanna International Group, a privately held financial services firm founded in 1987. SGE says this means it does not depend on outside fundraising and has no fixed time horizon for its investments.
Does SGE invest in businesses other than software?
Yes. Alongside its software holdings it lists services companies as current investments, including Quality Collision Group in collision repair, LUV Car Wash, the Tint World franchise it backed in 2025, Main Line Brands in pest and mosquito control, and Tierra Encantada in early childhood education.
Will SGE take a minority stake?
It can. On SGE's own site, Tierra Encantada's founder describes taking SGE on as a minority investor, and the firm says its capital can fund growth, acquisitions or a cash-out for existing shareholders, spread over several rounds.
How large are SGE's investments?
It does not publish a range. Rounds announced since late 2024 include $14 million in Package.ai, $18 million in Thread, $22 million in Visitt, a $25 million follow-on in ApartmentIQ and an $80 million SchooLinks round that SGE led.
