What Integrum Holdings buys

Integrum is a New York investment firm that backs technology-enabled services companies in North America. It focuses on four areas: insurance services, payments, business and professional services, and what it calls capital-light financial services, such as wealth management. It looks for profitable companies that can scale, with steady organic growth, strong client relationships and capable management, and it keeps a small, concentrated portfolio. In October 2025 it closed its second fund at $2.5 billion, plus $500 million more from the firm's partners and co-investors. It manages about $5 billion.

Integrum writes large equity checks, from $100 million to $1.2 billion per company, and had backed six companies when Fund II closed. Its recent partners are big businesses: advisory firm Stout, executive search firm True, which has more than $350 million of revenue, and wealth manager Allworth Financial. It often invests next to existing owners, with management and employees keeping real stakes. Founder-owned companies well below that size are unlikely to be a direct fit.

Greymont’s take

How Integrum Holdings fits a seller

Integrum fits owners of large, growing services businesses in insurance distribution, wealth management, professional services or payments who want a partner to invest in technology and talent. Its deals tend to leave management and employees with real ownership: Stout's employee shareholders kept a meaningful stake, and Allworth's employee and advisor owners kept significant ownership next to Integrum, Lightyear and Ontario Teachers'.

Its smallest stated check is $100 million, so most founder-owned companies would meet it only by selling to one of its portfolio companies, such as Evertree, a personal lines insurance agency that grows partly by buying and integrating other agencies. An owner should ask how many companies the fund plans to back and how long Integrum expects to hold. USI, which it backed in 2022, agreed in August 2026 to be sold to Aon.

Questions owners ask

How large are Integrum's investments?

Its October 2025 Fund II announcement said its equity commitments have ranged from $100 million to $1.2 billion per company, across the six companies it had backed at that time.

What sectors does Integrum invest in?

It targets technology-enabled services companies in North America in four areas: insurance services, payments, business and professional services, and capital-light financial services such as wealth management.

Does management keep equity when Integrum invests?

Usually, yes. In the Stout deal, existing employee shareholders kept a meaningful stake. At Allworth, employee and advisor shareholders kept significant ownership, and Program Productions' management stayed on as meaningful investors.
