What Shoreline Equity Partners buys
Shoreline Equity Partners is a Jacksonville area firm, now based in Neptune Beach, Florida, that launched in March 2019 and manages more than $750 million of committed capital. It calls itself sector agnostic but returns to three business models: services, distribution and light manufacturing. Its current companies include commercial roofing, landscaping, pool service, janitorial, exterior restoration, water treatment chemicals and food businesses. Shoreline prefers companies that do not need heavy capital spending and that have long customer relationships and a record of growth and profit.
The target is $5 million to $30 million of EBITDA and a deal value of $50 million to $350 million, with Shoreline leading equity checks of up to $150 million. It usually takes control through buyouts, recapitalizations or corporate carve-outs, but it will also make minority and growth investments. Its time has mostly gone to the Southeast, with deals across the country. Smaller owners usually meet Shoreline as add-ons: C&S Chemicals, Core Roofing Systems and American Landscaping Partners all bought companies in 2025 and 2026.

Greymont’s take
How Shoreline Equity Partners fits a seller
Shoreline suits Southeast owners of route-based and branch-based service businesses, specialty distributors and light manufacturers who want growth capital and a buyer that keeps adding companies. Its platforms are active buyers: C&S Chemicals has made 15 acquisitions since 2022 and American Landscaping Partners nine in its first year and a half. The firm also announces industry searches in public; its April 2025 search in exterior waterproofing came before the 2026 United Restoration and Preservation deal.
Founders often stay invested. The URP leaders kept a meaningful stake, and Shoreline says any management rollover is usually in the same securities and on the same terms as its own. When Shoreline sells, it has kept a minority stake twice, in Pave America and in the Pool Troopers sale to SPS PoolCare. Owners should ask how much equity they would roll, who controls the timing of the next sale, and how the management incentive pool works.
Questions owners ask
What size of company does Shoreline Equity Partners look for?
Its investment parameters call for $5 million to $30 million of company EBITDA and a transaction value of $50 million to $350 million. Its 2026 press releases add that it leads equity investments of up to $150 million.
Does Shoreline buy roofing and landscaping companies?
Yes. It owns Core Roofing Systems, a commercial re-roofing company that bought Norman Roofing in January 2026, and American Landscaping Partners, which added Tennessee GreenScapes and Chesapeake Irrigation & Lighting in February 2025.
Can an owner keep a stake after selling to Shoreline?
Yes. Shoreline says management rollover is usually in the same securities and on the same terms as its own investment. In the July 2026 URP deal, the company's leaders kept a meaningful ownership position.
Where does Shoreline invest?
Across the United States, with most of its history in the Southeast. Its team is based in Northeast Florida, and recent platforms are headquartered in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and Missouri.
