What Monogram Capital Partners buys
Monogram Capital Partners is a Los Angeles firm, founded in 2014, that invests in consumer businesses and in the manufacturers and service companies that support them. Its main areas are food and beverage, beauty and personal care, pet, and consumer and business services. It manages about $1.9 billion of regulatory assets and closed its $350 million Fund III in November 2025. The firm says it can invest in companies with $5 million to more than $250 million of revenue and usually puts up to about $50 million of equity into each one.
Monogram often acts as the first outside investor in a founder-led or family-owned company. In its recent platform deals it bought a majority stake and the founders kept a minority share. Fund III has leaned into consumer services, starting with Precision Door Tri-State, a garage door repair franchisee, and Vasco, a sports court surfacing contractor. Smaller firms in those niches, or in food and beverage co-manufacturing, are most likely to meet Monogram as add-ons to those platforms.

Greymont’s take
How Monogram Capital Partners fits a seller
Monogram suits owners of consumer brands, consumer-facing service businesses and the contract manufacturers that make products for consumer brands. Its recent deals follow a pattern: Monogram buys a majority stake, the founders keep a minority share and stay involved, and the company then buys other family-run businesses in its niche. Precision Door Tri-State's founders stayed on as minority partners, and the founder of Foris Solutions joined the board after selling.
Monogram also tends to stay with its winners. It bought back Western Smokehouse two years after selling a majority stake, and in 2026 it moved Mountaintop Beverage into a continuation vehicle led by Apollo S3 instead of selling it outright. Owners should ask how large a stake they would keep, and whether Monogram plans to bring in a co-investor, as it did with Halmos at Vasco.
Questions owners ask
What size company does Monogram Capital Partners invest in?
Its website says it can invest in companies with $5 million to more than $250 million of revenue, and that it typically invests up to about $50 million of equity in each company.
Does Monogram buy service businesses or only consumer brands?
Both. Its first two Fund III platforms were service companies: Precision Door Tri-State, a garage door repair and installation franchisee, in 2024 and Vasco, a sports surfacing contractor, in 2025.
Do founders keep a stake after Monogram invests?
Often, yes. In the Precision Door Tri-State deal the two founders stayed on as minority partners, and the founder of Foris Solutions kept a minority stake and joined the board when it was acquired in 2026.
How large is Monogram's latest fund?
Monogram closed Fund III at its $350 million hard cap in November 2025, and the firm said the fund was substantially oversubscribed by returning and new investors.
